Last week, we posted the top BFA musical theatre, acting and design/tech programs in the country. Getting your BFA is a huge accomplishment, but if you want to take your education to the another level, getting your MFA is the next step. So today, here are the best MFA programs in the country. We’ll once again break it down to musical theatre, acting and design/tech. Schools are ranked based on a criteria that includes, cost of program, facilities, training, faculty, alumni among others. Some of these programs might have appeared on the previous lists but keep in mind we’re taking about MFA programs.Tonight we move on to Acting.

The Old Globe today announced that it will present The Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program’s production of William Shakespeare‘s Much Ado About Nothing, directed by James Newcomb, Nov. 9 – Nov. 17, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe’s Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is Nov. 9 at 8:00 p.m.
